Madison Alligood brings years of experience as a policy advisor and attorney in the North Carolina Senate to her role as General Counsel for The Raleigh Group.
As General Counsel at The Raleigh Group, Madison Alligood advocates for clients across a wide range of policy areas, drawing on her extensive experience within North Carolina’s legislative and legal arenas. Before joining the firm, Madison served as Deputy General Counsel and Policy Advisor to Senate President Pro Tempore Phil Berger, where she advised on complex healthcare, judiciary, and general government matters.
Madison’s background as a trusted staffer in the North Carolina Senate provides her with a unique and informed perspective on the policymaking process. Her legal experience, including serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard Dietz at the North Carolina Court of Appeals, enables her to help clients understand the legal implications of proposed and enacted legislation.
A North Carolina native, Madison earned her undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University and her law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law. Madison is an EA Morris Leadership Fellow, a member of the American Enterprise Institute’s Leadership Network, and a graduate of the Health Reformers Academy. In the community, she is an active member of the Junior League of Raleigh where she leads the organization’s partnership with StepUp Ministry, and she serves as a Guardian ad Litem child advocate.
